Not too long ago, Suzuki has officially launched a new 2022 version of the Suzuki GSX-S1000 model. The new motorcycle comes with a bolder and more aggressive style compared to its predecessor.
Features
One of the most striking features of the new Suzuki GSX-S1000 model is its aggressive hexagonal headlight cluster and unique sharp and angular rear body frame.
The bike is powered by a 999cc, 4-cylinder engine that produces 152 PS at 11,000 Rpm and 106 Nm of torque at 9,250 RPM. The power is channeled through its 6-speed gearbox.
The bike weighs 214 kg, has a 19-liter fuel tank, and is equipped with KYB adjustable upside-down forks, and mono-shock suspension at the rear.
The new electronic control system adopts an electronically controlled throttle (ride by wire) called the SIRS (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System) and SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector).
The SDMS comes with three different modes, the first mode or mode A is the most sporty, while the last mode or mode C is the least powerful choice.
All of this information will be displayed on the bike’s new updated LCD instrument. The new multi-functional LCD instrument comes with the right dimensions and is easy to read even under a bright sun.
In addition, the traction control system also has more options as it can be adjusted in 5 levels. Another feature is a quick shifter that allows shifting the gear up and down without operating the clutch lever.
Price & Availability
The new Suzuki GSX-S1000 comes in three different colors: Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Mat Mechanical Gray, or Glass Sparkle Black.
It is expected to be marketed for the first time in Europe at a price of £10,999.
