In celebration of BAPE®’s 30th anniversary, adidas Originals and the iconic Japanese brand have joined forces to present the highly limited Forum 84 BAPE® Low Triple-White sneaker. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, introducing an innovative new drop format that includes a limited edition NFT auction.
A Fresh Take on a Classic
The Triple-White sneaker represents a refreshing contrast to its BAPE® 1ST CAMO predecessors, integrating the Harajuku brand’s iconography with a shooting star motif and “A Bathing Ape” embossed in silver metallic foil. The sneaker also features an NFC chip in the left tongue, providing access to a Digital Certificate of Authenticity.
A New Era of Collaboration
This collaboration reinforces both brands’ dedication to timeless style and relentless pursuit of excellence. The launch is supported by the adidas /// Studio (Three Stripes Studio) as a limited edition, product-linked NFT drop. This represents a new step for adidas, partnering with MoonPay for the first-ever digital asset auction for the brand.
Auction Details
The adidas Originals x BAPE Fresh Forum NFT auction will begin on August 22nd via adidas COLLECT and will be open to everyone. The auction will last for 72 hours, closing on August 25th. Only 100 NFTs (with 100 corresponding pairs of sneakers) will be available.
The 100 holders of the adidas Originals x BAPE Fresh Forum Access Pass NFT will be able to redeem the complementary physical pair of the adidas x BAPE Forum Low 84 Triple White sneakers and digital twin via adidas COLLECT on September 26th. The shipment of the 100 physical pairs will start in October.
About the Drop
Set within the walls of ‘The Forum Launderette,’ a pristine launderette located in the heart of a mysterious desert, the ‘Fresh Forum’ drop presents a unique chance to own a piece of sneaker history. The auction will start on August 22nd at 4 PM CET and will close on August 25th at 4 PM CET (hard close, no extensions possible).
