Lamborghini teamed up with Cervélo Cycles to launch a limited-edition bike dubbed the Cervélo R5 Automobili Lamborghini Edition.
This urban bicycle was released in celebration of the birthday of Lamborghini, which was founded in May 1963.
Design
This special edition Lamborgini Cervélo R5 bicycle offers a type of racing bike. The thought process behind it was to adapt to the Lamborghini which is a high-speed sports car.
In fact, the road bike uses a pattern that pays tribute to the Aventador SVJ who set a speed record for a production car at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 2018. At the time, the Aventador SVJ recorded a time of 6 minutes, 44.97 seconds.
Built
The Bolognese-based company explained that the essence of the bike is inspired by the Aventador SVJ, specifically, fast from every perspective, but with handling power and easy cycling behavior.
The Cervélo R5 is equipped exclusively with components made in Italy. Some of these features include Campagnolo Bora One wheels wrapped in Vittoria Corsa Pro tires, a Campagnolo Super Record EPS mechanical assembly, Deda Elementi rods, and a Fizik Aliante saddle.
Price
This new bike is already on sale and can be purchased from authorized Cervélo resellers and dealers. Its official retail price is $ 18,000. As for its availability, the road bike was only produced as many as 63 units.
