Coros has officially launched a new sports watch called Apex Pro on the market. The company used to lack in a premium touch, but the latest smartwatch might have changed that.

Design

The Pro wording underlines the addition of noble materials in its manufacture. The case is entirely in aluminum and the bezel in titanium. The most important news of the change of look is that we find a touchscreen display for the first time.

Display which is in sapphire crystal by 1.2 inches with a resolution 240 × 240. The improvement in the user experience did not stop only on display but also hit the digital crow. Now it is larger and more comfortable to operate even with a pair of gloves.

Features

Speaking of functions, there are the classic methods of tracking sports activity. Users could find different modes according to the selected sport like running, cycling, triathlon, swimming, etc. The Coros Apex Pro is very suitable for trail runners or all those who like to train at high altitude, as there are a barometric altimeter and a pulse oximeter to have a more precise estimate of the data.

The smartwatch is equipped with  GPS / GLONASS and water resistance up to 100 meters(10 ATM). According to the company, the battery can guarantee 40 hours in GPS mode and 30 days in regular use.

Overlook, but necessary to specify, the wear synchronizes with the companion app available for iOS and Android.

Price and Availability

The Apex collection to date includes two possible choices of case sizes, a 42mm and a 46mm. Meanwhile, the Coros Apex Pro model will only be available in the 46mm variant. As for the price, the company is tagging its latest sports watch with a price tag of $ 499,99.
